Problems with nvidia driver 280.26

I ended up doing a system restore - All is back to normal, except the control panel still can't be found. I wanted my driver up-to-date for Power Director, but after the hell I went through I don't know what to do.

Online I see other users are having problems, control panel disappearing and other problems. Aug 15, My screen won't display anything after "Windows is starting".

Now after seeing your screenshot of course I realize I've seen that roll back option in the device manager many times - Much better. Thanksbut hopefully I won't have to use that soon!
