I had this problem with 2 different Xbox 's Post probably your laser lens in the Disc Drive, needs cleaning. Sometime a disk cleaner will work. Microsoft has built an Xbox emulator within the software of the Xbox One.
That means, essentially, you've got an Xbox within your Xbox One that springs into life when you insert those old discs or boot up a last-gen game. You'll notice that any backwards-compatible games within your library have an Xbox logo strip down the left-hand side, so you can see what's what at a glance.
The only caveat is how many games are actually backwards-compatible. There are currently nearly games supported by the service, but we're waiting for some of our favourites to arrive - including Red Dead Redemption. It's completely free. Microsoft's thinking is that no-one should have to pay for what they already own. Damn skippy they shouldn't. That applies to all your games' associated DLC, add-ons and other things like Gamerscore and Achievements.
Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the current issue with the game pass on the Xbox Due to the subscription not being applicable for the system, I would recommend to manage your subscription on the Xbox or contact Customer Support. Thank you for asking this, and for the answers. I had the same question. Nowhere on any of the Game Pass pages does it say that it is only for Xbox One, nor does it say it is not for Xbox Microsoft seems to have tried hard to not explicitly state that anywhere, possibly in hopes of tricking owners into purchasing a Game Pass subscription, that they won't even be able to use.
I can't come to any other conclusion. Microsoft is very clear about which console every game and accessory is for, but not Game Pass. They must have left that info off of all of their pages on purpose. Azmod3aN - 12 years ago - report 3 0. It is best to place your console horizontal because as stated if you are playing it vertical for example your pet dog or your mother could potentially knock it over and damage your disc.
I would suggest that you dont place it on the direct floor or carpet where the system fans and ports can easily become filled with dust wich could cause miscomunication and system errors. So the best way to place your console would be elevated from the floor in an open area placed horizontal on a stand. This way you have less changes to damage yor disc and the system obtains maximum airflow.
Vertical is best if you want to keep your from getting to hot. Just don't be stupid about where you put it. That way it doesn't get tipped over. But as long as you use common sense and set it up in a logical place. It should be fine. TooEvil4Hell - 12 years ago - report 1 0. No always keep it horizontal. That way it won't tip over.
